Bengaluru: As actor Chetan Ahimsa continues to question ‘Kantara’ fame director/actor Rishab Shetty on ‘how can ‘Daivaradhane’ be a part of Hindu religion?’, multi-lingual actor Kishore who plays the role of forest officer Muralidhar in the movie has given an explanation.

Taking to Facebook Kishore under the title ‘Kantara and Dharma’ wrote, “I request people not to paint ‘Bhoota Kola’ and ‘Daiva’ in same colour. People who are trying to create division and spread hate, are they not able to question the practice of untouchability towards the same people who are involved in the ‘Bhoota Kola’ ritual? Why are they not questioning on the religion and portrayal of ‘Garnal Saheba’ character in the movie?”

“Kantara movie has not only entertained but also portrayed social injustice. It has made people aware on it. Using the movie to project communal hatred, division among people and their belief system, I consider it to be failure of humanity. People in the name of ‘vote bank’ politics, have never left any stone unturned in humiliating out freedom fighters and patriotism. Think twice before hijacking such movies with insane ideologies. We should be proud about our movies and not paint it communally or politically”.

Kishore has also posted the same on his Instagram account.

Earlier, actor Chetan had questioned about the socio-religious aspects of the movie, for which, Rishab Shetty had replied by saying “No Comments”. Distressed by this, Chetan had said “No comments is not a response. By just saying ‘no comments’, doesn’t serve the purpose”.
