Kantara, starring Rishab Shetty has been a ‘Divine hit’ all over the world. The film produced by Hombale Films has found its name in the Oscar reminders list too.

With the movie breaking box-office records, the film team fulfilled its vows (‘Harake’) to the deity during a Kola held in Mangaluru.

The team, including director-actor Rishab Shetty, producer Vijay Kiragandur, Karthik Gowda, and Saptami Gowda, participated in a ‘Bhoota Kola’ event held recently in Mangaluru.

Hombale Films, the production house behind the blockbuster, shared a clip of the ‘Kola’ ritual on its YouTube channel. The video has been edited to sync with the ‘Varaha Roopam’ song from the movie.

Hombale Films also shared the clip on Twitter with a caption: “You surrender to the nature & worship the God, who has bestowed you with such success n freedom in life. #Kantara team witnessed the divine in real form & took the blessings of Daiva!”

The story of ‘Kantara’ weaves around the tradition and beliefs surrounding the ‘Bhoota Kola’, a unique religious ritual of coastal Karnataka.
