‘Kanti’ and ‘Saheba’ director S Bharath passes away

Bengaluru: Sandalwood director S Bharath, known for movies ‘Kanti’ and ‘Saheba’ passed away at a private hospital in Chamarajanagar on the night of December 24.
The director, reportedly, was ill and had been receiving treatment at the hospital for the past few days. He, however, died last night without responding to the treatment.
Bharath had directed the hit movie ‘Kanti’ starring Sreemurali and Ramya. A few years later, he directed Ravichandran’s son Manuranjan, in his debut film ‘Saheba.’
Bharath hails from Chikkamuluvadi village in Ramanagara district and had been residing in Bengaluru’s Vijayanagar.
Many from the industry expressed their grief and condolences over the untimely death of the young director.
