Karinja pond: Hotel employee drowns during swim

Bantwal: A hotel employee working at Mangaluru drowned in the Karinja temple pond during a weekend visit.
Sesappa Madiwala Sukesh (26), a resident of Vakkadigoli in the taluk had come to the pond with friends on Sunday evening to enjoy the weekend. Sukesh drowned when taking a dip in the pond.
Fire services officials searched for hours before finding his body.
Pujalakatte police station has registered a case.
