Karkala: Workers of two religious activists organisations were involved in violence in the taluk here on Sunday leading to one person being injured and hospitalised.
A gang of workers from one organisation allegedly entered the house of a person from another organisation and attacked him and his mother who tried to prevent her son from being attacked.
Many reasons are being claimed as the reason for the attack including property dispute between the attackers and the victim and exacting revenge as the victim here had allegedly attacked a youth earlier.
