A 43-year-old Bahrain returnee was killed after his motorcycle rammed into a bus that was moving in front of him near Ammas Dhaba near Mujoor Goretti church on Karkala-Hirgana road on Wednesday, March 1.
The deceased has been identified as Manohar Poojary (43), a resident of Hirgana Kananji Hankarabettu.
Manohar who was employed at Bahrain and had come to native place and was supposed to return to Bahrain in a few days.
The accident took place when he was turning from Karkala after collecting his physical fitness certificate.
A case in this connection is registered in the city police station.
