Karkala: 60-YO kills son in drunken stupor

Karkala: In a shocking incident a 60-year-old man stabbed his son to death at Kasba village of Karkala on Tuesday, December 10.

Vivian D’Souza (24) is the deceased person. The accused Victor D’Souza has been arrested by the Karkala police.

It is gathered that Victor was an alcoholic and would often quarrel with members of his family in an intoxicated state. On Tuesday afternoon, Vivian confronted Victor when he came home drunk and created a commotion. In a fit of rage, Victor is said to have taken a knife and stabbed Vivian causing his death.

A complaint in this regard was lodged by Savio D’Souza, Victor’s son and brother of the deceased at Karkala police station.
