A fire broke out at an apartment in Siddhivinayak Layout on Jodu Road, causing an estimated loss of Rs 6 lakh.
The incident took place in the flat belonging to Dr. Chidanand Kulkarni on January 29 at around 1:15 AM.
Household items including a television, windows, lights, fans, switchboards, a laptop, and a sofa were damaged in the mishap.
Firefighters, including station officer Chandrashekhar, and other personnel Achyut Karkera, Hariprasad, Jaya Moolya, and Nityanand managed to douse the flames and prevent further damage.
