Karkala: Thieves break into post office; return empty-handed

Karkala: Unidentified miscreants broke into the post office at Mundkoor, Karkala, and made an unsuccessful attempt to steal cash on Monday, August 23.
It is said that the thieves took the DVR of the CCTV camera and entered the post office. However, the thieves returned empty-handed after searching the premises.
Police officials conducted an inspection at the spot. A case has been registered at Karkala Rural police station and further investigations are underway.
