A goods vehicle veered off the road after the driver lost control at Mala ghat on April 28.
Reports indicate that the incident occurred as the vehicle was traveling from Sringeri towards Bajagoli. Both the driver and a co-passenger identified as Nagaraj sustained injuries in the accident.
Authorities have confirmed that a case has been lodged at the Karkala Rural Police Station in connection with the incident.
