Karnataka: 4 more COVID-19 +ve reported; total tally on May 11 rises to 14

Bengaluru: The total COVID-19 positive cases reported in the State on May 11 has risen to 14.

Till noon, 10 cases were reported, however, in its evening bulletin, the State’s health department has reported an addition of 4 new cases.

Two cases have been reported from Bengaluru. A 55-year-old woman from Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh and a 26-year-old resident of the city. Both are confirmed to have been infected by contact with patient number 796.

The two other infected have a travel history of Mumbai. A 30-year-old woman from Hassan and a 38-year-old man from Mandya.

The total number of infected persons in the State has increased to 862 to date. Of these, 426 have recovered and discharged from hospitals. 31 have died of the virus.
