Bengaluru: The State government has decided to allow marriages to be held in marriage halls, hotels and resorts from June 28 with 40 guests in attendance.
The decision was taken in a meeting Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa held with ministers and officials on Friday.
All 40 guests attending the wedding must have a pass from the relevant authorities.
The move comes following the government’s decision to allow dine-in services at all hotels and restaurants in the lockdown relaxation period.
Following the imposition of the lockdown in the State all scheduled marriages were ordered to be held at home with 40 guests.
