Bengaluru: In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, this time, it was decided that the State’s assembly session will be conducted only for six days.

This decision was taken at the house advisory committee’s meeting held on September 21.

As many MLAs and ministers have been infected with COVID-19 and many have only recently recovered, Chief Minister Yediyurappa decided to shorten the assembly session to three days and had informed Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah and KPCC president DK Shivakumar about it.

However, both Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar objected to it.

Finally, in the committee meeting, it was decided that the session will be held for six days.
