Bengaluru: The winter sessions of the state legislative assembly at Belagavi, termed as the second capital of the state is likely to be held between December 10-21.

The state government has sent a temporary timetable to the Governor regarding the winter sessions, informed sources. As soon as, the Governor approves of it, the speaker of the legislative assembly Ramesh Kumar and chairman of the legislative council Basavaraj on November 19 will approach the Belagavi officials to discuss about the winter sessions.

It may be recalled that during last winter session several legislators complained about the food and accommodation arrangements and hence special attention will be given to avoid any such issues this time round, said the sources.
