Karnataka Bank Targets to Get 4.15 Lakh Current, Savings Account Customers by Feb 28

Mangaluru: Karnataka bank has launched a special campaign for opening current and savings bank accounts. Under the said nationwide campaign which will remain in force for a period of three and half months from November 15, 2017 to February 28, 2018 the bank intends to open more than 4.15 lakhs current and savings accounts by active involvement of its more than 8000 work force in all the 774 branches across India.

General public are requested to make use of this opportunity by opening savings bank, current accounts with requisite KYC documents and information.

Bank offers host of savings, current account schemes loaded with multiple add-on facilities, services to suit the needs of varied segments. To ensure round the clock banking experience to its valued customers, bank is extending various user-friendly digital channels such as internet banking, mobile banking, KBL BHIM UPI App, KBL ApnaApp, SMS Banking, Debit, Credit Cards and others.

These self service channels will empower customers to bank at finger tips at their own comfort and convenience. Bank also provides personal accident insurance cover of upto Rs 10.00 lakh under ‘KBL Suraksha’ to its Savings Bank customers with a nominal premium of Rs 100 only.

“This is a mega reach out campaign undertaken by Karnataka Bank with an intention to take the banking to doorsteps of general public. During this 3 ½ months long nationwide campaign, we aim to add more number of customers into the bank’s fold which will eventually ensure realising bank’s dream of serving at least one percent of country’s population. Karnataka Bank which is well known as a ‘Tech-savvy Bank’, is extending its services with human touch to live upto its reputation of ‘Customer Friendly Bank’,” said Mahabaleshwara M S, MD and CEO of Karnataka Bank.

“Bank has an array of tailor-made products to suit the requirements of different walks of society. With the advent of technology, banking is made simple and easy. New prospective customers can also submit the account opening request online through bank’s website. I urge the general public to make use of this campaign to have the best in class banking services and enjoy the convenience and unlimited value added services. I am confident of good response from the public, “he added.
