Bengaluru: The Karnataka BJP’s organizational meeting and core committee discussion are set to take place today. Party in-charge Radha Mohan Agarwal, who arrived in Bengaluru on Friday night, will oversee a series of meetings at the party office on Saturday. Internal grievances within the party are expected to be a key agenda of discussion.

On his arrival, Radha Mohan Agarwal was received by state BJP general secretary P. Rajeev and welcomed by workers at Kumara Krupa guesthouse with flowers and cheers. He later met key leaders, including state president B.Y. Vijayendra.

Schedule

At 10:30 AM, an organizational review will take place at the party office, presided over by state president Vijayendra. Membership drive coordinators Nandish Reddy, N. Ravi Kumar, and Ganesh Karnik will present updates on the drive in Agarwal’s presence.

The core committee will meet at 3 PM to review the party’s recent performance, including losses in three by-elections. Discussions on the upcoming Zilla and Taluk Panchayat elections, alliance strategies with JD(S), and issues such as the Wakf Board notice are also on the agenda.

Further, preparations for the Belagavi session and campaigns against the Congress government’s alleged corruption will be deliberated.

Currently, BJP factions include those aligned with Vijayendra, Basangouda Patil Yatnal, and neutral leaders. Agarwal is expected to deliver a clear message to all groups.

However, dissatisfaction persists over the lack of action against Vijayendra’s group, which publicly criticized Yatnal. Former CM D.V. Sadananda Gowda may raise concerns regarding internal discipline during the meeting. Agarwal is expected to listen to grievances and provide solutions.
