As Chief minister Basawaraj Bommai began his Budget speech at Vidhana Soudha today, it was the former chief minister who became a cynosure of all eyes.
Opposition leader Siddaramaiah had kept a marigold flower on his ears to symbolically mock the Budget.
Other Congress leaders too were seen participating in this unique protest which meant to imply that the Budget being presented by Bommai is a mere eyewash ahead of upcoming elections.
Meanwhile, #Kivimelehoova trended on Twitter.
Take a look at the tweets:
KiviMeleHoova pic.twitter.com/aWyELn4xZL
