Karnataka declares seven-day state mourning for Vajpayee

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Government has declared a seven days state mourning till August 22 as a mark of respect to former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
During this, there wont be any official entertainment programmes and the flag would be flown half mast atop all government buildings.
Schools, colleges and government offices would remain closed on Friday.
Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy is expected to fly to New Delhi on Friday morning to pay his last respects to Vajpayee at the latter’s residence.
