Karnataka: Further relaxation for agro activities

Bengaluru: The State government has relaxed, from midnight of April 22, additional activities related to agriculture.
The amended lockdown exemptions include the following agricultural and related activities:
– Permission for farmers and farm labourers to work on agricultural land
– All workers in APMCs
– Agricultural tools & spare parts shops.
– Distribution and sale of fertilizers, pesticides and seeds.
– Inter-State and inter-district transportation of agricultural and horticultural machinery.
– Collection, processing, distribution and sale of milk and milk products.
– Poultry and sheep farms operations.
– Transportation and production of animal feed and its raw materials.
– Operations of veterinary shelters including Gaushala.
– 50% workforce on tea, coffee and rubber plantations.
– Marketing and sales of tea, coffee, rubber and cashew.
– Marketing and sales of fishes
