Dharwad: Karnataka state government has fulfilled 155 out of 165 assurances made in the Congress party election manifesto prior to the last state assembly elections in Karnataka, claimed Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in a rally organised in Dharwad on Monday.
Siddaramaiah invited both opposition parties BJP and JDS for an open debate on the achievements of the state government during the past 4.5 years in Karnataka. He asked BJP to leave communal politics instead work for common people. Chief Minister also stated, BJP leaders haven’t yet concentrated on the issues including Mahadayi, farm loan waiver and others for wellbeing of the people.
Previous BJP led government in Karnataka had completely failed to fulfill the assurances made in the respective election manifesto. However, present Congress party led state government fulfilled the dreams of the common people as assured earlier, chief minister added.
