Karnataka govt ranks first in corruption, says DK Shivakumar

Hubballi: KPCC president DK Shivakumar alleged that the State government ranks first in corruption in the country.

Speaking to reporters here he said, “the government created queues for COVID-19 treatment, medicines and even for cremation. They raised the prices of essential commodities and property tax increasing the distress of the people.”

“If there was good governance in the State, why was the need to change the chief minister after two years? BJP leaders should tell the people why the chief minister cried openly before resigning. The CM change was an internal matter of the party but the people of the State are questioning whether the resignation had anything to do with the corruption during the COVID-19 crisis,” Shivakumar said.
