Karnataka HC grants permission to conduct SSLC examinations

Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court has granted permission to conduct the SSLC examinations for the current academic year.

The High Court has dismissed the petition seeking the cancellation of the Class 10 class examinations in wake of the cancellation of the pre-university examination.

The High Court said it would be good to conduct the examinations considering the future educational prospects of the students.

The court instructed the government to conduct the examination by strictly adhering to the COVID-19 guidelines.

The SSLC examination for the current academic year will be held in a different format. The examination will be conducted over two days by clubbing three subjects together.

Maths, science and social sciences examination will be held on July 19. Language subjects will be on July 22.
