Karnataka High Court Extends Interim Bail of HDK Until July Last Week

Bengaluru: Karnataka High Court has extended interim bail granted to former Karnataka Chief Minister and JDS Karnataka State President HD Kumaraswamy (HDK) on Wednesday afternoon inconnection with his alleged role in Janthakal Mining scam.

Hearing opinion of Special Investigation Team (SIT) responsible for investigating the case on the progress of investigation, the court extended the interim bail granted to HDK until July last week.The court has also adjourned for the last week of next month. Verifying the documents and the case diary submitted by SIT against HDK, the court questioned the investigation team that on which grounds it has appealed to arrest former chief minister.
