Karnataka: Hotels and restaurants to open in few days

Bengaluru: Karnataka Hotel and Restaurant Association President Chandrashekhar Hebbar today stated that the Chief Minister has promised to allow opening of hotels and restaurants across the State before May 31.
Speaking after meeting Chief Minister Yediyurappa at the Home Department’s ‘Krishna’ building on Tuesday, May 26, Hebbar stated that hotels and restaurants would be opened this month.
Hebbar added that the chief minister stated that social distancing and facemasks should be made mandatory in all hotels and restaurants and other related rules should also be made for entry.
All hotels and restaurants across the state have been closed since the past two months due to the COVID-19 lockdown except for parcel service.
