Mangaluru: The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) is developing a new mobile app for the weather forecast of any part of the State.
KSNDMC had recently released the ‘Megh Sandesh’ app for weather forecasting in the Bengaluru metropolitan area. A similar app is being developed for weather forecasting in the entire State.
The new app will show the present temperature, precipitation, wind speed, and cloud cover. The app will also have a feature to show the weather of the destination and the route while travelling.
KSNDMC has already released the ‘Sidilu’ app aimed mostly at farmers that forecasts rainfall, thunder, lightning and storms.
