Karnataka Legislative Council counting begins

Mysuru: The tallying of votes in favor of the Karnataka Legislative Council for South Teachers’ Constituency started at the recently built Maharani Commerce and Management school here.
After the third round, JD(S) competitor Marithibbe Gowda is leading by 578 votes. Marithibbe Gowda secured 6010 votes and is trailed by Congress applicant Lakshman, who secured 5432 votes. There are nine candidates in the shred for the South Teachers’ Constituency.
