Karnataka legislative session likely before Sept

Bengaluru: The State government is likely to hold the monsoon session of the Karnataka legislature either in August or September.
Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai, who is also the Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, had said that a decision regarding this will be taken at the next Cabinet meeting.
It was reported earlier that Basavaraj Horatti, chairman of the Legislative Council had requested Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa to hold the next session at the Suvarna Soudha in Belagavi as no session has been held there since 2018.
