Karnataka Covid-19 lockdown extended till June 7

Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Friday announced that the ongoing COVID-induced lockdown in the state will be extended till June 7.
BS Yediyurappa said that a 14-day lockdown will be implemented across Karnataka from May 25 to June 7.
Yediyurappa said, ” We have taken some decisions regarding the lockdown after discussing them with our senior Ministers, chief secretary and other officials. The Covid-19 cases are on a rise in the state and is also spreading to the villages. In order to curb the spread of Covid-19 in the state, the current lockdown has been extended till June 7.”
However, he said that there will be no change in the current lockdown guidelines and urged people to stay at home.
