Karnataka Media Academy award: 145 journalists including 6 from Udayavani on list

The Karnataka Media Academy announced the yearly prizes for excellence in journalism for the years 2019-2022.

6 Udayavani journalists A M Suresh, Ningajja, Balappa, Hanumanta Rao Bairamadagi, Amaregowda Gonavar, Chandrasekhar More are among those honoured.

Tilak Kumar of Deccan Herald, Hariprakash Chakamane of Vistara News, Prashanth Natu of Vijaya Karnataka,  Vinayak Bhatt Moorur of Hosadigantha, and  R Manoj of Kasturi News were awarded Lifetime Achievement award, 2019.

The Special Award comes with a purse of Rs. 50,000 and a citation, whilst the Annual Awards come with a purse of Rs. 25,000 and a citation.
