Karnataka Police Can Arrest Bomb Naga within Five Minutes: Jagadish Shettar

Dharwad: Karnataka state police have clear information on the movements of Bomb Naga however they haven’t yet taken any steps to arrest him, said Karnataka senior BJP Leader Jagadish Shettar speaking here in Dharwad on Wednesday.

Speaking on Bomb Naga issue, Shettar added that, the police can arrest ex-rowdy sheeter, former BBMP member Bomb Naga at any time within a time span of 5 minutes. The lawyer representing Bomb Naga has information on the location where Bomb Naga is hiding after he narrowly escaped from police arrest. Therefore, the state government and police should take necessary steps to arrest him immediately, otherwise Karnataka people will get a wrong message from the state government on the issue, Shettar added.  

Bomb Naga is reportedly hiding at various locations in Tamil Nadu after police found unaccounted cash worth in crores, documents related to unaccounted property in a raid last month on his residence in Bengaluru. The police have arrested more-than 8 members of his gang and reportedly trying their best to nab him.

As many 12 police cases have been registered so far against Bomb Naga in-connection with cheating and other criminal activities after he escaped from the hands of the police before the raid on his residence. The police sources said that, around 25 persons reportedly cheated by Bomb Naga and his gang and exact number of victims is yet to be known.
