The Congress party is gearing up for the state elections and has been working on the candidate selection process. The screening committee, after conducting a three-day meeting, has finalized the list of candidates.
The party is expected to release the list in the third week of March, which will give voters a clearer picture of who they can expect to see on the ballot. The party meeting is expected to take place in New Delhi on the 15th and 16th.
Additionally, the formation of a political affairs committee in the near future will help the party coordinate and manage its campaign effectively.
