Bengaluru: Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait said that Karnataka government will open its own model schools ‘Karnataka Public School’ across the state.
Addressing the media at Kalaburgi today, Sait said that it was the government’s aims to provide integrated education system from the primary level to PUC to the rural students ‘under the same roof’.
“Allocation for the same will be made in the next budget,” he added.
To guard against leakage of SSLC and PUC examination question papers, the ‘Karnataka Secure Examination System’ (KSES) law had been tabled and discussed in both sessions of the Legislature.
“We will bring the law into force soon,” Sait assured.
He guaranteed that all measures had been adopted to make exams secure, check copying and other malpractice.
‘Shikshana Kirana’ a new programme has been initiated to measure the performance of students in schools, the minister said.
