Bengaluru: The Karnataka Rajyotsava award presentation ceremony is likely to be held on November 25. The award presentation ceremony which usually happens on November 1 was postponed due to the bypolls on November 3.

Initially it was said that the Rajyostsava award presentation was scheduled to held on November 15 but due to the confusions in selecting the awardees, the presentation program had to be deferred to November end.

Since this would be 63rd Kannada Rajyotsava the government may restrict the number of Rajyotsava award winners to 63 itself, in accordance with a High court order that the number of award winners cannot exceed 63

As Vishukumar, Kannada and Culture Department Director will be retiring from service on November 30, the award presentation programme is likely to be held before that.
