Karnataka records highest single-day spike with 53 new cases; state tally rises to 847

Bengaluru: Karnataka recorded 53 fresh cases of coronavirus on Sunday, May 10 taking the state number to 847.

Among 847 cases, 405 people have been cured and discharged while a total of 31 people have succumbed to the virus.

Out of 53 cases, 22 cases were reported from Belagavi, eight each case were reported from Shimoga, and Bagalkote, Seven cases were reported from Bhatkal, three each case were reported from Kalaburagi and Bengaluru, One each case was reported from Davanagere and Chikkaballapur.
