Bengaluru: The Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowment Department has relaxed some restrictions on the conduct of rituals in temples across the State from September 1.
The temple management can now conduct traditional rituals offered by devotees while adhering to the precautionary measures and health guidelines already in place.
However, temple festivals and other special celebrations will not be allowed, they can be conducted on a smaller scale with only a minimal temple staff in attendance.
Precautionary measures such as facemasks, distancing and availability of hand sanitizers are mandatory.
