Udupi: As Karnataka gears up for the Belagavi Assembly session, BJP MLA V. Sunil Kumar has stated that a new Chief Minister will head the government. He claimed that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will no longer be in power after November 23, following the results of the by-elections in three constituencies, where he anticipates that NDA candidates will secure victory.

Sunil Kumar, speaking to the press in Udupi, expressed confidence that the internal issues within the Congress will become apparent post-results, potentially leading to Siddaramaiah’s ouster from office.

Muslim Appeasement Allegations

According to Sunil Kumar, Congress’s alleged appeasement of Muslims is not new, stating that Siddaramaiah seems more focused on pleasing the Muslim community than ensuring justice for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and OBCs. He criticized the Chief Minister for his recent actions, such as releasing Rs 350 crore to fence properties, a move he termed controversial, and referenced the past celebration of Tipu Jayanti during the previous Congress tenure as an attempt to divide the state along religious lines.

Party Leadership and Unity

Assuring that the BJP remains united under state leadership, Sunil Kumar dismissed rumors of internal discord. He emphasized that while minor differences may exist, they will be addressed by the party’s leadership, underscoring that there is no confusion over party leadership in Karnataka.
