Karnataka’s COVID-19 death toll crosses 12,000

Bengaluru: On December 18, the total number of deaths due to the virus reached 12,004 in the State with 15 new deaths on December 18.
1152 new cases of COVID-19 and 2,147 recoveries were also reported on the same day.
The State’s tally of total cases has now risen to 9,08,275 cases.
14,370 COVID-19 cases are presently active out of which 223 patients are undergoing treatment in Intensive Care Units.
Bengaluru Urban district reported the highest number of cases in the day at 586. All other districts reported less than 70 cases.
