Kasaragod: 2 arrested for smuggling marijuana

Kasaragod: The police here arrested two people for smuggling 22 kilograms of marijuana worth about Rs 10 lakhs.

The two smugglers were carrying the marijuana on a scooter.

The police, based on a tip-off, sent a team to intercept the duo.

When the police officials stopped the scooter and checked they found the marijuana which the smugglers allegedly claimed were leafy vegetables.
