Kasaragod: Dentist Dr Krishnamurthy found dead on railway track

Kasaragod: A renowned dentist of Badiadka who had gone missing two days ago was found dead on a railway track at Ajji Mane, Hittiangadi village.
The deceased has been identified as Dr. Krishnamurthy S (57). He was a dentist by profession and had been practicing for the past 30 years.
On Tuesday morning, Krishnamurthy’s wife lodged a police complaint stating that the doctor was missing.
Police began search operations and found that his bike was parked at Kumble.
On Wednesday, locals found an unidentified dead body on Konkan railway tracks. Police suspected it to be the missing doctor and informed his family members.
On Thursday, Krishnamurthy’s family identified his body and a post-mortem was conducted.
Reason for the extreme step is yet to be known.
