Kasaragod district legal officer Akash Ravi dismissed for insulting Chief Minister

Kasaragod District Legal Officer Akash Ravi has been dismissed from service on charges of insulting the Chief Minister.

According to the order, Ravi, who also serves as the Deputy Secretary of the Law Department and President of the Kerala Secretariat Employees’ Union, had issued a notice in the name of the organization that contained derogatory remarks about the Chief Minister.

The dismissal order further mentions that while serving as the Palakkad District Legal Officer, Akash Ravi was involved in illegal activities in collaboration with Palakkad Tahsildar and Deputy Tahsildar L.R.

Additionally, the district authorities have recommended a Vigilance inquiry into allegations of bribery against Ravi and his associates.
