Kasaragod: Husband murders woman PSI

In a shocking incident, Divyashree (35), a woman PSI from Chandera Police Station, was allegedly murdered by her husband at her parental home in Karivellur-Paleri.

The accused, Rajesh, an auto driver, fled the scene after committing the crime and police have launched a manhunt to nab him.

Divyashree and Rajesh were estranged and she had been residing with her parents.

Reportedly, Rajesh attacked Divyashree with a weapon, inflicting fatal injuries on her neck and face. Her father, Vasu, who tried to intervene, sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment at a hospital.
