Kasaragod: Police seize 31,800 packets of banned tobacco products

Kasaragod: In the Drive Against Banned Tobacco Products campaign, police officials have arrested a man with around 31,800 packets of banned tobacco products.

The arrested accused has been identified as Siddhalingappa (39) of Vijayapura Gandhi Chowk.

Acting on a definite tip-off, police waylaid the lorry transporting banned tobacco products to Kochi from Mangaluru.

A case has been registered.
