Kasargod: 11-year-old girl foils abduction bid on her

Kasargod: An alert 11-year-old girl foiled a kidnapping bid when a gang tried to kidnap her on the way to home on Wednesday, June 29.
The incident occurred under Manjeshwar police station limits.
It is said that the girl was walking home from school when she was forcefully pulled inside an Omni van. The vehicle then sped away on Angadi Padavu road.
However, after a while, the van had to slow down as there was a truck coming from the opposite direction. The alert girl jumped out of the van and ran towards safety.
She then managed to inform her dad and relatives about the incident.
A case has been registered.
