Kasargod: Cops arrest five more in connection with kidnap, looting of jewellery agents

Kasargod: Police officials have arrested five more people in connection to kidnapping and robbing of Rs 14 lac from jewellery agents

The accused are identified as Abdul Azeez (27), Abdul Rauf (26), Mohammed Iqbal (27),  Mohammed Rizwan (27) and Ranjith Kumar (27).

On December 10, A gang of thieves  waylaid a car which was on its way from Mangaluru to Kannuru  near Manjeshwar. They then forced the victims, Mahesh Patil and Avinash into their car and took them to an isolated place at Karudapadav. The gang stole cash from the duo and fled from the spot.

The victims filed a complaint at Manjeshwar station police.
