Kasargod: The Kasargod district administration has begun sanitising all the goods vehicles that enter Kerala via Talapady border. The move comes amid the increasing coronavirus cases in Dakshina Kannada.
As per an order issued by Kasargod District Collector D Sajith Babu following the santisation process, the trucks arriving from Karnataka will have to off load the goods and hand it over to vehicles from Kerala at the border.
No one from Karnataka should enter Kerala in goods vehicles. The goods lorry drivers and staff from Kasargod would have to undergo Covid-19 test at the nearest PHCs every week, he added.
