Kasargod: Man kills brother over property dispute, two others injured

In a shocking incident, a man fatally attacked his elder brother following an argument over a property dispute in Kasargod on November 11 night. Two other persons who tried to stop the assault sustained injuries during the altercation.

The victim, identified as E. Chandran Nair (52), succumbed to knife wounds inflicted by his younger brother E. Gangadharan Nair (48). The injured — Manikantan (48) and Gopinathan (48) were subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment.

The incident happened on the night of November 11 when Chandran, a daily wage worker, returned home after work. A heated argument erupted between the brothers over a property issue, during which Gangadharan allegedly stabbed Chandran in the chest.

The accused Gangadharan Nair was restrained by the neighbors and handed over to the police.
