Kasaragod: A man sustained injuries to his right hand after his mobile phone exploded near Parappa here on Tuesday.
The victim Ravindran, a resident of Pallatumoole was speaking on the phone, which was gifted to him by a relative when he noticed smoke coming from the handset.
Petrified by this he threw the handset but it exploded at the time thus wounding his right hand.
