Kateel: Woman dies in road mishap

Mangaluru: A 35-year-old woman died after falling from a two-wheeler at Kallakumeru near Kateel here.

The deceased identified as Mamatha Shetty, a resident of Karkala was riding pillion with her husband. The accident took place at around 5.30 am on Thursday when the couple were on their way to Kateel,

Mamatha’s husband did not notice a road hump causing the two-wheeler to jump. Mamatha lost her balance and fell on the road.

A seriously injured Mamatha was rushed to a hospital but she succumbed to the injuries.
