A missing person report has been filed at Kapu police station regarding the sudden disappearance of a young woman from her home in Achchada, Moodabettu village, on October 24 night.
Shashikala (19), a B.Com student at a college in Udupi, was reportedly having dinner with her mother when she stepped outside and did not return.
Her mother searched nearby relatives’ homes before filing a missing complaint.
The police have registered a case and have begun an investigation to trace Shashikala’s whereabouts.
