Kaup: A 63-year-old man committed suicide on Thursday, May 19.
The deceased is Mark Martis, a resident of Moodabettu.
Mark who was working abroad had come back home two years ago. On Thursday morning when Mark’s daughter came home after tying jasmine flowers she could not find him.
When she along with other family members started looking around the house they found out that Mark hanged himself to death using the rope used to drawing water from well.
It is said that he was under depression after quitting his job.
Suicide is preventable. If you get any such thoughts, consult or seek expert help.
